Richard Koons, tenor merits acclaim for both his leading and comic roles in theaters across the United States and Europe. He has build a reputation as a passionate and captivating performer.. The Baltimore Sun heralds, "Koons is a lyric tenor with impressive power and acting skills." Richard is a native of South Bend, Indiana and received his Bachelor's of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. He stayed in the Midwest to continue his studies in music and received a Master's of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. While at CCM he appeared in several opera productions including GIANNI SCHICCHI, LA DAME BLANCHE, L'ELISIR D'AMORE and THE RAKE'S PROGRESS, as well as, performed with several regional opera companies including White Water Opera, Sorg Opera and Indiana Opera North. He made his debut with the Aspen Music Festival singing the role of 'Sellem' in THE RAKE'S PROGRESS and returned to sing 'Abraham Kaplan' in STREET SCENE under the baton of Julius Rudel. Since graduating he has moved to New York City, where he continues to study voice with W. Stephen Smith of the Juilliard School of Music. Robin Lounsbury, coloratura soprano is a multifaceted performer of opera, operetta, and musical theater works. Critics have praised her “soaring coloratura voice as stunning” while taking note of her “spirited stage presence.” She has delighted audiences throughout the U.S. with her roles including ‘Glida’ in RIGOLETTO, ‘Lucy’ in THE TELEPHONE & ‘Magnolia’ in SHOW BOAT. She appears regularly with such companies as Opera for the Young, ION, LaComedia Dinner Theater & Lyric Opera of Cleveland. Ms. Lounsbury recently returned from China & Hong Kong where she performed in Troika Entertainment’s tour of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. She studies with Doris Yarick Cross of Yale University & Carolann Page. Recent New York appearances include the coloratura roles of ‘Zerbinetta’ in ARIADNE AUF NAXOS, ‘Dalinda’ in ARIODANTE, and ‘Morgana’ in ALCINA. Russell Wagoner is in high demand as a pianist, coach and conductor. He is the music director, arranger, and accompanist for Front Row Center. With Front Row Center he has released a Christmas Album, "Once Upon A Midnight Clear." Included on this recording is an original work, sharing the same title, composed by Mr. Wagoner. Currently he is working on the arrangements for their second recording "My Romance," a collection of musical theater ballads and duets. Russell is the Director of Choral Activities at Tappan Zee High School in New York, as well as Music Director and Organist at Franklin Lakes United Methodist Church in NJ. In 2003, Russell made his conducting debut with the Tappan Zee High School Concert Choir at Carnegie Hall as part of the New York City Wide Choral Festival. He is currently composing a new musical entitled, ONE FOREVER KISS, based on the story of Sleeping Beauty with lyricist/librettist Jan Behr. |
